At Girls A.L.I.V.E. NC, we offer inclusive, engaging, and empowering activities and programming designed specifically for neurodivergent girls ages 10–18. Our goal is to foster confidence, connection, and creativity in a safe, supportive community.
Bi-Weekly Zoom Check-Ins:
Stay connected, build friendships, and share your voice!
Our virtual check-ins provide a consistent space for girls to chat, connect, and reflect with peers and mentors. Each session includes social-emotional check-ins, interactive games, and themed discussions.
Every other Thursday at 7:00 PM EST
Creative Arts & Expression Workshops:
Empowering girls through creativity and self-expression.
In-person and virtual workshops where girls explore art, music, journaling, storytelling, and more. Activities are led by caring facilitators who understand diverse learning and communication styles.
Topics include:
- Vision boards & goal-setting
- Painting & crafting
- Guided creative writing
- Music and movement therapy
Guest Speaker Series:
Empowerment & Understanding: Learning from experts who care.
Girls hear from inspiring women and professionals in fields like neuroscience, psychology, education, and the arts. These sessions are designed to educate, empower, and celebrate neurodiversity.
Upcoming speakers will share on:
- ADHD & anxiety awareness
- How the brain works
- Building self-esteem
- Coping strategies and self-care
Mentorship Circles:
Older girls supporting younger girls, and all growing together.
Our mentorship model connects younger girls (ages 10–13) with teen mentors (ages 14–18) for encouragement, guidance, and fun. Mentors receive leadership training and community service credit.
Mentorship groups meet monthly beginning Fall 2025.
