Ms. Gee is the founder and executive director of Girls A.L.I.V.E. NC. She is an educator in Durham, North Carolina and a mother of three. Her youngest daughter Daniella was diagnosed with ADHD, generalized anxiety disorder, and major depressive disorder after struggling to build relationships with other kids in schools for several years. Daniella’s mental health and social intelligence struggles that co-exist with her neurodiversity amplified her needs for support and accommodations at home and in school.
The Girls A.L.I.V.E. NC social club is the inclusive, supportive and necessary response to the social and emotional well-being of neurodiverse girls like Daniella.
